Description
Looking for the perfect introduction to Historical European Martial Arts? This bundle combines two complementary resources designed to help practitioners better understand the world of HEMA, from historical sources and equipment to guards, techniques, and weapon systems.
HEMA MANUAL
HEMA MANUAL is a 220-page hardcover guide to modern Historical European Martial Arts. It explores the foundations of HEMA, including historical sources, weapon categories, protective equipment, training culture, tournaments, clubs, and the international HEMA community.
Rather than focusing on a single fencing system, the book provides the broader context needed to understand how HEMA functions as a modern martial art and global community.
HEMA DECK
HEMA DECK is an educational card deck inspired by Historical European Martial Arts. Through 55 illustrated cards and a companion booklet, it introduces the fundamental guards, techniques, and concepts of four major HEMA disciplines:
- Longsword
- Rapier
- Sabre
- Sword & Buckler
Each card features original artwork inspired by historical fencing traditions, making HEMA DECK both a practical learning resource and a unique collectible for HEMA enthusiasts.
Together, these two products create a complete learning package, combining structured knowledge with visual reference material and historical inspiration.
